Go down to the floating dock, life vests are in the brown wooden box. Oars, canoes, kayaks, SUPs, and other equipment are on the floating dock! If you are going to Nelaugvann, stay in the middle of the river except for one point. See the attached picture:

For groups of up to 5 people for maximum comfort!
Camp Simonstad is run by the company Nidelva Adventure, and this package offers the rental of the main house (Villa Heyerdahl) with three private bedrooms and a sleeping alcove, as well as an apartment (Hamsun Panorama) with one bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room, ensuring a comfortable stay.

We offer a meal kit with everything you need for a weekend:
The recipes for dinners (Fri/Sat) are from matprat, and a link is included.
Friday will be the classic Friday taco, where we base the purchase on a total of 4 people, see the link: Taco | Recipe

For breakfast and supper, we buy eggs, yellow cheese, fresh bread, butter, milk, and other items if desired from the local bakery and farm dairy.
(We will, of course, change the menu for allergies or other preferences)
Weekend program in brief:
We offer a winter edition that can appeal to a pleasant and lovely weekend.
Friday:
Check-in, prepare and eat tacos, and settle into the house.
Saturday:
08:00-10:00 Breakfast
11:00-16:00 Guided ski tour on Hillestadheia, or snowshoe hike to Mjåvasshytta. Approximately 1 hour drive each way for both activities. Skis and/or snowshoes are included in the price, but we understand if you wish to bring your own equipment. Remember warm clothes.

17:00-19:00 Prepare and eat Steak Dinner
20:00-23:00 Sauna with ice bathing and Wim Hof method breathing exercises if desired.
Sunday:
08:00-10:00 Breakfast
11:00-12:30 Yoga and relaxation with an instructor.
13:00-15:00 Departure Home
The total price for the weekend will be between 12-15,000 NOK including VAT, depending on the number of participants.

Who we are and where we are located
Nidelva Adventure is a local company consisting of Kristian Valle, Håkon Mjønes, and Georg Valle. We are located at Simonstad in Åmli municipality. What we are passionate about is creating authentic nature experiences in the heart of Agder. We offer rental of canoes, kayaks, SUP boards, electric bikes, and via ferrata equipment, sauna, as well as accommodation for individuals and businesses. We offer guided mountain hikes, river trips, and Via ferrata. In the long term, we also want to develop winter experiences with cabin accommodation on the heath – so that the joy of nature can be shared all year round.

Our vision is to make nature accessible to tourists and locals, while also aiming to be a meeting place where people can experience community and tranquility. Therefore, we also plan to use the place with the beautiful name Fjellsol as an arena for these various purposes.
